2/5/19 - DNA results
/Turns out, all 5 cygnets are females! They have been pinioned. All are doing great.
2019 - Start of a New Year...off to a good start.
/Started the year with a bang! Shipped off one male Black Swan on the 9th. Followed with two Black Necks on the 17th. Then, a first…received a shipment of cygnets on the 27th.
Swans shipped this week!
/Shipped two females to Texas, a male/female pair to Mississippi, and a male to Washington. All arrived in good condition, all doing well.
Last swan from November Hatch to take off...
/The last member of the November 2016 hatch is leaving the ranch tomorrow morning. She will be flying down to Odessa Florida. She has a male there waiting for her. She has been a very good surrogate mom/big sister to the January 2017 hatchlings. They will miss her, I am sure!
Diablo and Grayson are disbudded
/Took the two to the vet on Friday, February 17th. Both were disbudded.
Dottie and Simon's kids arrive
/Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 7PM, Diablo and Grayson were born. Diablo was first, Grayson a couple minutes later. Diablo was up and walking right away, Grayson took his time.
